Abstract |
Azides chemistry has defied many researchers in the synthesis of heterocyclic compounds due to their high biological activity. Thus, the reaction of azidobenzenesulfonamide derivatives with different organophosphorus ylides as stabilized phosphonium ylides, trialkyl phosphites, tris(dialkylamino) phosphines, and Japanese reagent, is investigated. The reaction mechanisms for the formation of the novel products were proposed and illustrated. The structure conformations of these products were based on elemental analyses and various spectral data. Moreover, the synthetic iminophosphorane derivatives 14a, 14d, and 10 have the potential to be effective treatments for breast cancer and are strongly recommended as a promising anti-breast cancer agent. Breast cancer is now the most frequent cancer in women, according to 2020 data from the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC). Currently, cancer is treated using three different approaches: chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and surgery. The most popular treatment for cancer is chemotherapy, which uses a variety of chemotherapeutic chemicals to destroy cancer cells while causing the least amount of damage to healthy cells |
