Abstract
In this work, our goal was to synthesize pyrazolo pyrimidine derivatives substituted with benzothiazole moiety compounds. pyrazolo pyrimidine derivatives substituted with benzothiazole moiety compounds have been successfully synthesized from the reaction of aminopyrazole derivatives. It was synthesized via the reaction of aminopyrazole derivatives with each of benzothiazole ketene dithioacetal and benzothiazole acrylonitrile derivative under the same conditions. The structures of the resultant new compounds were confirmed using spectral analysis and elemental analysis. Consequently, the newly synthesized compounds were evaluated in vitro for their anti-tumor , antimicrobial and antifungal activities. The effect of a novel synthesized compound against a panel of 60 cancer cell lines was evaluated for its in vitro antitumor activities. All newly synthesized compounds were carried out in vitro for their antimicrobial activities against both Gram-negative bacteria and Gram-positive bacteria. Moreover, the minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) was also evaluated for the most active compounds against Gram-negative bacteria and Gram-positive bacteria.
