Abstract
A new series of pyrano(2.3-c)pyrazole -based azo dyes comprising monoazo derivatives (2. .3 and 4)and a Bisazo congener (1) was synthesized through an environmentally benign . one-pot multicomponent reaction yielding key intermediates A and B . followed by regioselectivity diazo coupling with structurally diverse aromatic amines. These transformations enabled precise control over electronic distribution substitution patterns and chromophoric extension within the final architectures. structural; elucidation via FT-IR 1H/13C NMR GC-Mass and elemental analysis confirmed the chemical integrity and symmetry of the synthesized compounds revealing high purity and consistent spectroscopic profiles across the series. The synthesized dyes were applied to polyester .nylon and wool fabrics using dyeing techniques . high temperature -high pressure. The highest K/S values foe all investigated dyes were achieved using a high temperature-high pressure technique .Also the color reflectance of all synthesized dyes with different dyeing shades (1% .2% 3%) was obtained The fastness properties of the dyed sample using the investigated dyes showed good color fastness toward light. washing and perspiration fastness. Furthermore , nanoparticles surface finishing of dyed textiles conferred pronounced antibacterial properties .supporting their utility as dual-functional materials for both coloration and bioactive defense .This work present a synthetically scalable and functionally integrated platform bridging azo dye chemistry and antimicrobial textile engineering
